• Assist in the implementation of accounting directives in accordance with Government Accounting Standards and the guidelines of the Chief Accountant at the Ministry of Finance.
• Support the preparation of financial statements, perform periodic analytical reviews, prepare working papers, and liaise with external auditors.
• Assist with ongoing accounting operations, including period-end closing processes (depreciation, revaluations, etc.), item code approvals, opening and closing general ledger accounts, and management of cash accounts.
• Support routine internal controls, including inventory valuation reviews, cash counts, and investigation of material discrepancies.
• Assist in fixed asset management, including implementation of depreciation committee decisions, asset capitalization, and disposals.
• Support the execution of in-depth and periodic audits.
• This position is officially approved for CPA internship recognition.

Location: Central District, Israel
