About the Role We’re looking for an ambitious AI Accounting Engineer with 1–3 years of accounting experience who is excited about the future of AI and finance.

This hybrid role combines accounting, customer success, consulting, and AI innovation. You’ll deliver accounting services through Viewz, help customers adopt AI-powered workflows, and work with Product and Engineering to improve our accounting agents.

What You’ll DoDeliver accounting services • Provide day-to-day accounting and finance services through Viewz.

• Support reconciliations, journal entries, accounts payable and receivable, payroll support, month-end close, and financial reporting.

• Ensure work is accurate, timely, and aligned with accounting best practices.

• Build trusted relationships with finance teams, controllers, and CFOs. Onboard and support customers • Lead customer onboarding and implementation.

• Train finance teams to use Viewz and adopt AI-powered accounting workflows.

• Provide ongoing guidance and support long-term customer success. Improve AI accounting workflows • Translate accounting processes into scalable AI-powered workflows.

• Test and improve AI-generated accounting work.

• Identify opportunities to automate repetitive tasks.

• Document business rules and edge cases to improve AI performance.

• Share customer and accounting insights with Product and Engineering.

What We’re Looking For • 1–3 years of experience in public accounting, corporate accounting, bookkeeping, or finance operations.

• A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• A strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.

• Hands-on experience with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Cursor, or similar platforms.

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent communication skills and confidence working with customers.

• A curious, proactive mindset and comfort working in a fast-paced startup.

You should already be using AI to improve how you work and be excited about applying it to accounting.

Nice to Have • CPA certification, progress toward certification, or another relevant accounting qualification.

• Experience working with customers or training software users.

• Experience in a startup, SaaS, fintech, or technology company.
