Position Summary:
The NPI Engineer will manage the critical transition of products from development to production. The role includes full responsibility for configuration control and structured engineering processes, combined with deep technical understanding of electro-mechanical systems and the ability to develop and lead test setups and processes.
Responsibilities:
• End-to-end ownership of the NPI process, from prototype through mass production.
• Analyze production feedback (DFM/DFA) and independently drive engineering issue resolution with R&D teams.
• Configuration Control responsibility, including part number creation and BOM build & management within ERP/PLM systems.
• Lead and manage Engineering Change Orders (ECO) across R&D and manufacturing.
• Develop and maintain complete Manufacturing Data Packages (MDP) to support production at local and offshore contract manufacturers.
• Lead product transfer processes to contract manufacturers, including production readiness, process implementation, and ongoing support.
• Define Acceptance Test Procedures (ATP) in collaboration with R&D teams.
Requirements:
• B.Sc. in Electronics Engineering or Practical Electronics Engineer - required.
• At least 3 years of experience in NPI (New Product Introduction) or Manufacturing Engineering roles within a high-tech hardware environment.
• Proven experience leading product transfer processes from development to production and working with cross-functional teams.
• Experience with PRIORITY ERP system and PLM as Agile/Arena.
• High level of English (speaking, reading, and writing).
• Strong systems thinking, with the ability to work independently and maintain a very high level of organization and attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate across multiple interfaces and cross-functional teams.
