Full job description
Original listing · kept for referenceDux is a fast-growing, early-stage team, building the next generation of exposure management for cybersecurity teams. We help security organizations cut through the noise, identifying what actually matters, and making it actionable.
About the Role:
We're looking for a Product Manager to take ownership of hands on product execution at Dux, driving features from definition through delivery across the full product surface. As the product and team grow in complexity, this role ensures that the detailed, day-to-day product work, prioritization, specs, cross-functional coordination, backlog management, runs consistently and at pace, enabling the product org to scale its output without losing quality or speed. This is a versatile, all around product role. Rather than owning a single fixed product area, you'll work across the platform, gravitating toward the areas where your experience and strengths create the most impact. The work is roughly 70% inbound (specs, roadmap, backlog, internal coordination) and 30% outbound (customer calls, feedback loops, POV engagements).
What You will Do:
• Own feature delivery end-to-end, from spec through shipping
• Write clear requirements and acceptance criteria that engineering can run with
• Manage and prioritize the product backlog
• Collaborate directly with backend, frontend, and AI/ML engineers on feasibility and tradeoffs
• Work with GTM and customers to inform product decisions
• Own POV engagements and customer facing product work
• Establish and maintain processes across departments - documentation, bug handling, customer feedback loops
• Track product metrics and iterate based on data
What Success Looks Like:
In the first 3 months, you're leading projects independently, from customer conversation through
design, R&D, and delivery. By 6 months, you're conducting customer calls on your own, owning
POV engagements end-to-end, and establishing working processes between departments.
What We're Looking For:
• 2+ years of product management experience at a cybersecurity company
• Startup or early-stage experience
• Technically fluent - you don't need to be an engineer, but you should be comfortable in a tech-heavy environment and not afraid to dig into how things actually work under the hood
• A builder who loves shipping, not just planning
• Proven ability to move fast in a high-velocity environment
• Experience with enterprise customers, building for them or selling to them
• Strong cross-functional collaborator across Design, R&D, Sales, and customers
• Familiarity with security tooling (EDR, SIEM, firewalls, vulnerability scanners)
Nice to Have
• Experience building AI-powered or LLM-driven product features
You will Thrive Here If You:
• Focus on what brings success, not on rigid process
• Take ownership without waiting for direction
• Aren't afraid to make mistakes and try new things
• Are a team player, willing to roll up your sleeves
• Want to build something from the ground up where your work has real, visible impact
• Are comfortable with broad availability and high workload, there are always more tasks than people, and that excites you rather than overwhelms you
