• הפעלה ואיפוס (Set-up) מכונות כרסום (קונבנציונלי/CNC) כולל החלפת כלים, הגדרת פרמטרים והרצת תוכניות ייצור.
• ביצוע עבודות גימור טכנולוגיות: השחזה, ליטוש, ניקוי ושטיפה, כחלק מהכנת החלק לשלבים הבאים.
• בקרת איכות במהלך ובסיום העיבוד: בדיקת מידות באמצעות כלי מדידה קונבנציונאליים וכלי עזר ייעודים, השוואה לשרטוט ודיווח על חריגות.
• איתור תקלות בסיסיות במכונה או בתהליך, והצפת הבעיות לגורמים המקצועיים הממונים.
