Communications System Engineer

We are looking for a Communication Systems Engineer for our ELTA Division!

What will you do:

• Leading the design of the communication suite for a manned mission aircraft (System of Systems), including command and control systems for operators and pilots, RF communication systems, and data communication.

• Integration for mission aircraft projects involving a large number of diverse systems from ELTA and external sources (radio systems, intercom, satellite communication, and more).

• Writing system specifications: defining engineering requirements for the various system components against customer demands, operational concepts, and mediating requirements with development teams at all levels.

• Matrix management of internal engineering teams from different disciplines (engineering plants, software, and intelligence at ELTA; aircraft and engineering administrations at IAI) and external teams (subcontractors), and supervising their deliverables.

What we’re looking for:

• B.Sc. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering – required

• Electronics Engineering Technician – advantage

• 3 years of experience and technical background in RF systems – required

• Willingness to travel abroad – required

• Experience in systems engineering – advantage

• Knowledge in data communications and network management – advantage

• Experience working with test equipment (SPECTRUM, NETWORK ANALYZER) – advantage

• Skills in troubleshooting and problem-solving – advantage

• Experience in level A/B operation and maintenance – advantage

• Familiarity with requirements and test management applications – advantage
