A leading defense company is seeking an experienced System Engineer to join the development of advanced and complex UAV systems.
This role offers a unique opportunity to take part in cutting-edge technological projects, work in a multidisciplinary environment, and influence the development of innovative systems from concept through delivery.
Responsibilities
• Lead the development of UAV systems integrating advanced hardware and software, from solution definition through requirements engineering, integration, testing, and customer delivery.
• Drive complex system integrations involving payloads, subsystems, and third-party products.
• Define system and subsystem requirements and prepare system specifications and design documentation.
• Lead development activities and integration efforts across multiple engineering disciplines, including airborne software, command-and-control (C2) software, simulators, software testing, electronics, and more.
• Ensure end-to-end system performance and successful execution throughout the product lifecycle.
Requirements
• B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering - Mandatory
• M.Sc. in Systems Engineering - Advantage
• At least 3 years of experience as a System Engineer in multidisciplinary systems combining hardware and software - Mandatory
• Experience in engineering development in areas such as software, electrical design, or flight control systems - Mandatory
• Hands-on experience with development and analysis tools such as MATLAB and Python, as well as communication protocols - Mandatory
• Experience in the aerospace, aviation, or autonomous vehicle industries - Advantage
• Military background in UAV-related units or organizations (operations, maintenance, or engineering) - Advantage
