Founding Engineer

A high-growth Defensive Cyber Security startup developing a complex, next-generation security product from scratch.

The company leverages advanced AI tooling and modern software architecture to build cutting-edge cyber defense capabilities.

Founded recently, the company is well-funded by top-tier Israeli venture capital funds. They currently employ a lean, high-caliber team of under ten employees and are actively expanding.

Located in central Tel Aviv with immediate access to the Light Rail, operating on a full-time in-office model with occasional flexibility.

Role Description-

• Joining as a Senior Full-Stack Engineer on the founding engineering team, offering a unique opportunity to shape the product, architecture, and technological direction from scratch.

• Developing complex end-to-end features with a strong Backend focus in Python, while integrating advanced AI tools such as Claude.

• Building modern Frontend components utilizing TypeScript alongside AI-driven development workflows.

• Collaborating in a close-knit engineering team to drive Greenfield product development and introduce new technologies.

Requirements-

• 5+ years of hands-on software development experience in Backend or Full-Stack roles – Mandatory

• Professional background from a Cyber Security company OR service in an elite military technological unit – Mandatory

• Strong, hands-on development experience with Python – Mandatory

• Proven experience working with Cloud environments (AWS/GCP/Azure) – Mandatory

• Experience developing with or integrating AI tools (e.g., Claude, GPT) – Significant Advantage
