Original listing · kept for referenceWe're looking for a hands-on Robotics Assembly & Integration Technician to join our growing robotics team.
This role is perfect for someone who loves building, testing and troubleshooting complex robotic systems. You'll become a key member of our R&D team, supporting engineers throughout the entire development process and ensuring our robotic platforms are always ready for integration, testing and field operations.
Responsibilities
• Assemble and integrate advanced robotic systems
• Support engineers during prototype assembly, system integration, validation and field testing
• Fabricate, modify and repair metal and plastic components for rapid R&D prototyping using standard workshop tools and equipment
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and system-level issues
• Perform system bring-up, functional testing and debugging
• Maintain robotic platforms, laboratory equipment, test facilities and tools
• Support field demonstrations, customer evaluations and manufacturing activities
Requirements
• Practical experience assembling electromechanical systems
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and electrical schematics
• Experience troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems
• Experience with soldering and cable harness assembly
• Experience using laboratory equipment, measuring instruments and hand tools
• Organized, detail-oriented and highly hands-on
• Strong sense of ownership, responsibility and problem-solving
• Passion for robotics and hands-on work, with a strong desire to build, test and improve real robotic systems
Nice to Have
• Experience with robotics, drones or autonomous systems
• Experience in the military or defense industry
