    About the Role

    We are looking for a Mechanical Development Engineer with a can-do approach to Join our R&D and Engineering Team. In this role you will take a major part in developing SpearUAV systems and will be involved in all the development stages, end-to-end, including the concept phase, system development, integration and evaluation, moving the system to serial production, delivery the system to the end user and implementing the system in the field.

    Responsibilities

    • Designing, integrating, and testing aero-mechanical assemblies for the company’s systems.

    • Being involved in field tests for proving the system performance.

    • Preparing manufacturing drawings, for the parts and components that you design.

    • Collaborating with engineers to ensure your design smoothly integrates within the system.

    • Supporting the manufacturing line in all the mechanical aspects of the system including preparing product files, work instructions, assembly jigs, etc.

    Qualifications

    • Mechanical Engineer with a bachelor’s degree

    • 4 years of relevant experience in designing mechanical components for multidisciplinary systems.

    • Self-motivated “soul player”, with a can-do approach and ability to work independently as well as in a team.

    • Highly skilled in working with Solid works - must (other CAD software knowledge is an advantage).

    • Familiarity with manufacturing processes for metal and plastic parts (machining, forming, 3D printing etc.)

    • Methodological and organized.

    • Hands-on approach, skills, and capabilities.

    • Skilled with writing documentation, and test reports.

    • Experience in the defense industry (advantage).
