Requirements: Required Skills: Demonstrate a detailed system-level understanding of systems Previous experience in hardware design, firmware design, linux device drivers and/or QA/verification of complex systems. B.a. / B.Sc EE or CS - an advantage Prior experience in at least one of the following technical areas: PCIe: Link training, configuration space, configuration procedures by the OS, hot-plug, transport layer, PCIe switch, SR-IOV, experience with PCIe Gen.4+ an advantage. Server design: x86 CPUs, BMC, IPMI, Redfish, SMBus/I2C, BIOS, UEFI, design for high availability, thermal design. Storage systems: NVMe SSDs, NVMeoF, RAID, OCP SSDs Networking: 100/200/400/800G Ethernet, Infiniband, RDMA, NVMeoF, QoS, Flow Control, VxLANs, Optical Tranceivers, cables and DPUs Linux: Device drivers, memory management, hardware debug and test tools.
