As an In field Medical Advisor at CSL Israel, under general direction, you will play a key role in both external and internal engagement. Externally, you will build and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and healthcare professionals, effectively demonstrating the clinical outcomes and benefits of CSL products. You will also organize and coordinate educational workshops, seminars, and programs for healthcare providers, including physicians, pharmacists, and scientists, while addressing unsolicited inquiries to enhance understanding of marketed products and related medical topics. In addition, you will facilitate investigator-initiated trials, support sponsor-initiated trials and contribute valuable medical insights to brand strategy and planning.
Internally, you will provide medical expertise and information to various departments and support the cross-functional team, ensuring alignment between medical, commercial, and other key functions.
Key Responsibilities
• Build and maintain relationships with Key opinion leaders (KOLs), healthcare professionals (HCPs), and stakeholders to highlight the clinical benefits of CSL products.
• Serve as a key point of contact for scientific interactions between CSL Behring and the medical/scientific community.
• Provide timely and comprehensive responses to medical and scientific inquiries.
• Lead and drive Scientific Advisory Board meetings, fostering relationships and ensuring scientific knowledge transfer.
• Participate in scientific symposia and assist with the development of CSL Behring-sponsored programs.
• Facilitate investigator-initiated studies, site feasibility assessments, and local/international speaker development.
• Track and document communications to maintain compliance with governance and transparency regulations.
• Organize educational events and monitor healthcare developments, including competitor activities and emerging trends.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and alignment.
Qualifications, Skills And Experience
• University Degree: Physician, PhD, or DVM
• Preferred: Experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry, ideally in haematology or immunology
• Strong scientific knowledge with excellent presentation, communication, and relationship management skills
• Ability to work independently and be self-motivating
• Strong team player, respectful, open and honest
• Dynamic, ambitious, eager to learn
• Strategic thinking, business planning ability, and knowledge of industry regulations
• Self-motivated, dynamic, and team-oriented with a willingness to travel across Israel and abroad.
