Original listing · kept for referenceWe are looking for a Satellite Systems Engineering Training Lead to join the Space Division within the Missile & Space Systems Group at Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI).
The position includes:
• Providing professional leadership, training, and mentorship to Systems Engineers from international customer organizations throughout the lifecycle of their satellite development programs
• Coordinating engineering activities with the Project Chief Systems Engineer, who is responsible for system design decisions, while guiding customer engineering teams in the preparation of technical deliverables and subsystem outputs
• Serving as a key interface between customer teams and subject matter experts across the Space Division, Engineering Directorate, Systems Engineering teams, and external partners
• Leading the development and implementation of innovative training programs and workshops based on advanced methodologies and accumulated lessons learned
• Leading the Satellite Systems Engineering training domain for international customers and playing a critical role in ensuring project success
• Promoting systems engineering best practices and knowledge transfer across multidisciplinary satellite development programs
What we’re looking for:
• B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electro-Optics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Physics – Mandatory
• Advanced degree in Systems Engineering – Significant Advantage
• At least 3 years of proven experience in Systems Engineering – Mandatory
• Familiarity with the Space and Satellite industry – Significant Advantage
• Experience in training, knowledge leadership, mentoring, or customer-facing roles – Advantage
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in multicultural and multidisciplinary environments
