Role Description The Field Service Practical Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Even Yehuda. This role involves installing, configuring, and maintaining advanced engineering equipment and systems at customer locations and in the company’s lab. The engineer will perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs, as well as routine preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime. Daily responsibilities include providing technical support, training customers on proper operation, and documenting service activities, findings, and recommendations. The role also requires collaboration with sales engineers, participation in equipment demonstrations, and support for pre- and post-sales technical activities.
Qualifications
• Practical engineering background (e.g., Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics) with hands-on experience in installation, maintenance, and repair of technical equipment.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills, including the ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
• Comfort working with hardware and software systems, including configuration, basic networking, and use of measurement and testing tools.
• Clear, professional communication skills in en_US and Hebrew, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
• Customer-focused mindset, with demonstrated reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem solving.
