We are looking for an experienced technology procurement professional with strong commercial capabilities and in-depth knowledge of the Israeli IT market. This opportunity is particularly suitable for an experienced IT Procurement Manager, Technology Buyer, Category Manager, or Vendor Manager who understands both the purchasing and commercial sides of the technology market and is interested in moving into a business development and customer-facing role.
Position Overview
In this role, you will leverage your experience in technology procurement, vendor management, commercial negotiations, and enterprise IT purchasing to identify and develop new business opportunities.
You will work with enterprise customers, resellers, system integrators, technology vendors, and global manufacturers. The role includes understanding customers' procurement and technology requirements, building commercially attractive solutions, preparing proposals, conducting negotiations, and developing long-term business relationships.
The position combines technology procurement expertise, commercial analysis, vendor and customer relationship management, and business development. It requires a strong understanding of how enterprise organizations purchase technology solutions, evaluate suppliers, manage budgets, and make purchasing decisions.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop business relationships with enterprise customers, resellers, system integrators, vendors, and technology partners.
• Identify new business opportunities based on customer procurement needs, technology requirements, budgets, and purchasing processes.
• Understand and analyze enterprise IT procurement requirements, including specifications, pricing, service levels, delivery schedules, and commercial terms.
• Prepare commercial proposals, quotations, pricing models, and tailored technology solutions.
• Lead commercial negotiations with customers, suppliers, distributors, and technology vendors.
• Support and manage complex technology purchasing and sales processes from the initial requirement through contract signing and delivery.
• Build competitive solutions by combining products, services, pricing, availability, and commercial terms.
• Develop and maintain relationships with IT Managers, CIOs, CTOs, Procurement Managers, Category Managers, and senior decision-makers.
• Identify relevant tenders, procurement processes, framework agreements, and strategic commercial opportunities.
• Maintain accurate customer, opportunity, pipeline, and forecast information using CRM systems.
• Work closely with internal sales, operations, logistics, finance, and technical teams.
• Expand the company's presence in existing and new technology markets.
Requirements
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in technology procurement, IT purchasing, category management, vendor management, or commercial management.
• Experience purchasing or managing suppliers in at least several of the following areas:
• IT infrastructure
• Servers, storage, and data center solutions
• Networking and communication equipment
• Cloud services
• Managed Services
• Cybersecurity and information security solutions
• Software, licensing, and enterprise systems
• End-user computing and enterprise IT equipment
• Proven experience working with technology vendors, distributors, integrators, resellers, or global manufacturers.
• Strong understanding of enterprise procurement processes, pricing structures, tenders, commercial agreements, and supplier negotiations.
• Familiarity with the Israeli technology market and its major vendors, distributors, integrators, and enterprise customers.
• Strong commercial orientation and the ability to identify and develop business opportunities.
• Experience preparing quotations, comparing commercial alternatives, and negotiating pricing and contractual terms.
• Ability and motivation to move from a procurement-focused position into a customer-facing business development role.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Experience working with ERP, procurement, CRM, or vendor management systems.
• Fluent Hebrew and strong English.
