Job Details

While most enrollment positions prioritize throughput, this one prioritizes fit.

Alpha is constructing a school model of uncommon ambition. Our campuses integrate rigorous academic programs, technology-enabled instruction, and elevated expectations for both students and faculty. Students routinely outpace national learning benchmarks, with measurable results to confirm it.

Afternoon hours are structured for depth, autonomy, and applied skill development. The model is effective-but only when implemented with the right families. That is your mandate.

You will lead the admissions process for a campus from initial inquiry to final enrollment. This is not a coordination role. You are accountable for how families perceive us, how thoroughly they understand what we offer, and whether their decision to enroll is grounded in clarity and alignment. You will evaluate compatibility, facilitate meaningful dialogue, and advocate for no when warranted. The objective is not to maximize headcount. The objective is to ensure alignment.

What You Will Be Doing

• Leading the complete enrollment experience for prospective families, spanning first touchpoint to onboarding completion.

• Facilitating needs-based conversations to evaluate alignment before offering solutions or outlining pathways forward.

• Overseeing 20+ concurrent family relationships across varied enrollment phases, with transparent tracking and timely follow-up.

• Delivering campus tours, student shadow visits, and enrollment discussions that articulate expected outcomes, commitments, and the families best suited to our approach.

• Keeping CRM and enrollment systems (HubSpot and SIS) current and accurate to enable forecasting, prioritization, and consistent service delivery.

What You Won’t Be Doing

• Deploying transactional sales methods or high-pressure enrollment strategies.

• Admitting families who are poorly matched in order to meet numerical targets.

• Overseeing a sizable team or working through complex approval hierarchies.

• Distributing responsibility for the family journey across multiple stakeholders.

• Operating remotely. This is an on-campus role by necessity.

Head Of Admissions Key Responsibilities

Lead and deliver a high-integrity, high-selectivity enrollment process that successfully enrolls aligned families while safeguarding the standards and effectiveness of the Alpha educational model.

Basic Requirements

• 3+ years providing premium, individualized service in contexts where service excellence directly shapes brand perception (education, luxury hospitality, executive support, premium membership, or owner-operated client services).

• Proven ownership of a complete client, admissions, or enrollment experience from initial engagement through successful onboarding.

• Experience managing 20+ client, guest, or family accounts concurrently at varying stages, supported by a functional tracking and prioritization framework.

• Capacity to share specific examples of consultative guidance, including instances where you advised against your offering when alignment was absent.

• Professional written communication with senior leaders, high-net-worth clients, or discerning audiences.

• Willingness to reside in or relocate within 60 days to one of these locations: Chicago, IL, Nashville, TN, Tulsa, OK, or Southlake, TX.

• Work authorization in the United States without need for visa sponsorship.

Nice-to-have Requirements

• Background in admissions for selective private schools or enrollment in competitive programs.

• Experience in luxury hospitality, VIP client services, or executive-level support functions.

• Track record of developing or enhancing enrollment workflows, standard operating procedures, or service protocols.

• Proficiency leveraging data and CRM analytics to elevate conversion alignment, not merely velocity.
