We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer for our R&D team. If you are passionate about working with cutting-edge technologies, leveraging Edge AI platforms, and developing advanced high speed Electrical Hardware solutions for video processing and AI, this is the perfect opportunity for you!

In your day-to-day you'll

Own all aspects of the company's hardware end-to-end, from architecture through production.

Lead, manage and review our hardware sub-contractors, who carry out the primary electrical hardware design work.

Get hands-on with proof-of-concepts (POCs), including defining and adjusting electrical architectures.

Be responsible for all phases of the product development including requirements definition, proposal, concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, and maintenance.

Debug hardware issues across the product lifecycle, driving root-cause analysis and resolution.

Plan and perform qualification testing, including environmental and EMC/EMI qualification.

Collaborate with QA, Systems Engineers, Mechanical Engineers, V&V Engineers and Software Developers on requirement, design and interfaces definition, integration, testing and troubleshooting of failures.

To excel in this role, we need you to have

Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering (other education disciplines are acceptable with relevant work experience).

5+ years of systems engineering experience, including 3+ years in HW engineering.

Strong understanding of electrical theory, principles & practices and knowledge of electronic components and their applications.

Familiarity with analog and digital circuit design, power electronics, signal processing, communication protocols and vision solutions.

Experience in designing rigid and flexible electrical boards and work closely with PCB editors and manufacturers.

Experience with high-speed interfaces, such as PCIe or DDR, camera interfaces including MIPI CSI-2, MIPI CSI-3, MIPI DSI and more.

Hands on experience in PCBA bring-up, problems troubleshooting, while operating standard and advanced electronics lab equipment.

Practical knowledge of high-speed serial communication protocols, such as FPD Link, GMSL and more, with a track record of implementing these protocols in embedded systems.

Understanding of embedded computing platforms, including ARM-based SoCs, NVIDIA Jetson platforms, Linux BSPs, and hardware interfaces.

Knowledge of EMI/EMC standards and practices, including shielding and grounding techniques, and experience with EMI/EMC testing.

Knowledge of environmental Standards and testing.

Must have the ability to identify and assess design-related problems or constraints to evaluate, modify, and implement alternative solutions to meet cost & timing requirements.
