Original listing · kept for referenceWe're looking for a Senior GNC Algorithms Engineer to join an innovative startup developing autonomous robotic systems for drone operations in complex real-world environments.
We're looking for an engineer with strong algorithmic foundations and hands-on experience taking GNC algorithms from concept and simulation through testing, validation and real-world deployment.
What you'll work on:
• Development of Guidance, Navigation & Control algorithms for autonomous drones
• Sensor Fusion (GNSS, IMU, Radar, LiDAR and additional sensors)
• Simulation, validation and performance analysis
• Flight testing, log analysis and continuous algorithm improvement
• Working closely with software, electronics and mechanical engineering teams
We're looking for someone with:
✔ Strong background in GNC for autonomous systems (preferably drones)
✔ Solid understanding of control theory and navigation algorithms
✔ Hands-on experience with Sensor Fusion and real-world systems
✔ Ability to bring algorithms from concept through simulation to stable field performance
✔Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or another relevant engineering discipline
Experience with ROS, PX4 or ArduPilot is an advantage, but strong algorithmic fundamentals are far more important.
