How your day will be?
• Administer and maintain Windows Server and/or Linux servers (AD, DNS, DHCP, file/print, virtualization) to ensure availability and performance.
• Install, configure, and support network equipment (switches, routers, firewalls, Wi‑Fi) including VLANs, routing, VPN, and QoS.
• Monitor infrastructure health using monitoring tools; troubleshoot incidents and perform root-cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
• Plan and implement patching, upgrades, backups, and disaster recovery procedures; regularly test restores.
• Manage identity and access services (AD/Azure AD), group policies, and endpoint configuration in coordination with IT support.
• Maintain documentation (network diagrams, configurations, SOPs) and keep IT asset inventory current.
• Apply security best practices (hardening, logging, segmentation) and support vulnerability remediation and audit requests.
Requirements:
• 3–5+ years of experience in systems administration and networking (LAN/WAN) in a mid-size enterprise environment.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, VPN, and firewall concepts.
• Experience administering Windows Server (AD, GPO) and/or Linux; virtualization (VMware/Hyper‑V) is an advantage.
• Hands-on troubleshooting skills using logs, packet captures, and monitoring tools; strong problem-solving and RCA capabilities.
• Experience with backups, patch management, and DR planning; scripting/automation (PowerShell, Bash) is a plus.
