    About the company:

    Our client is a well-established global aviation company, operating across Israel, Europe, the USA, and APAC. The company is in a period of rapid growth and is actively expanding its IT function, which plays a key role in supporting business operations and improving efficiency across the organisation.

    About the role:

    The IT PMO will act as a central coordination point for all IT projects within the global organisation, working closely with project managers and reporting directly to the CIO. You will support alignment with business priorities, monitor progress, and provide clear visibility on timelines, budgets, risks, and overall delivery, helping improve efficiency across the IT function. The role covers a broad and varied portfolio of IT projects, such as ERP implementations, BI, business applications, system integrations, and more.

    Responsibilities:

    • Maintain and track the IT project portfolio aligned with company priorities

    • Support the development and maintenance of PMO methodologies, templates, and reporting tools.

    • Coordinate project prioritization with management and business stakeholders.

    • Track budgets, timelines, and deliverables across all IT projects actively following up on tasks and identifying bottlenecks, workload issues, and resource gaps.

    • Facilitate regular project reviews and executive reporting.

    • Support project managers in adopting best practices and governance standards.

    • Monitor project risks, dependencies, and overall portfolio health

    • Work closely with project managers across the organisation (no direct management responsibility)

    Requirements:

    • At least 3 years of experience in PMO, project portfolio, or IT governance roles.

    • Experience working with project management tools (e.g. Jira / Monday)

    • Experience creating and interpreting Gantt charts

    • Experience coordinating IT projects is a significant advantage

    • PMP or PRINCE2 certification – Advantage.

    • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Project Management, Information Systems, or a related field

    • Strong analytical and reporting skills.

    • Excellent communication and coordination abilities.

    • Experience in a multi-site, global organization is a significant advantage.

    • Professional level English, spoken and written – required
