We are looking for a hands on, detail oriented Finance Operations Specialist to join our growing team. In this role, you will own our internal financial operations, serving as the core bridge between our employees, management, and our external outsourced finance firm.

What You’ll Do

• Payroll & Pensions: Own the internal monthly payroll process (attendance/hours, updates, commissions, and benefits) and work closely with our external payroll providers and insurance brokers to ensure accurate and timely salary and pension payments.

• Vendor & Invoice Management: Manage accounts payable – review, approve, and process vendor invoices, manage credit cards, and handle employee expense reimbursements.

• Interface with External Finance Firm: Serve as the primary internal focal point for our outsourced finance firm. Provide them with all necessary financial documentation, receipts, and data for monthly and quarterly closing processes.

• Billing & Collections: Oversee accounts receivable – monitor client billing, issue invoices, and follow up on collections.

• Cash Flow & Administrative Support: Assist in monitoring the company’s cash flow, cross checking budgets, and implementing automated financial and expense management tools.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in a financial operations, or similar internal finance role within a high-tech/startup environment.

• Certified Payroll Specialist or a strong background in accounting/bookkeeping – A significant advantage.

• A strong analytical mind combined with a genuine willingness to dive into day-to-day operational, hands-on tasks (chasing receipts, checking insurance forms, data entry).

• High proficiency in Excel. Experience and expense management platforms (e.g., PayEm, Spendesk, Mesh,Dooka) – a major advantage.

• Exceptional organizational skills, extreme attention to detail, high level of discretion, and the ability to work independently.
