We're looking for a science-oriented software developer with a strong background in quantum information and quantum algorithms to help build our quantum compiler. We hire across levels — from researchers coming out of a strong M.Sc./Ph.D. to seasoned engineers.

The team & what you'll work o

• nThe Qmod language and its compiler toolchain — semantics, type system, intermediate representation, and the next-generation compilation pipelin

• eThe synthesis engine that lowers high-level programs into circuits optimized for width (qubits/ancillas), depth, and gate count under user constraint

• sImplement and improve quantum synthesis algorithms from the literature — arithmetic, multi-controlled-gate synthesis, Hamiltonian simulation (Trotterization, qDRIFT), state preparation, uncomputation, and fault-tolerant compilation (Clifford+T, routing

• )Resource estimation for quantum program

• sDebugging tools for quantum programs — for example, a visual model of the high-level program that lets users inspect and troubleshoot what they wrot

• eCompiler-pass performance and correctness, benchmarked against real algorithms (e.g. Shor's algorithm, quantum phase estimation, QSVT
