General Summary
The MACE QA and Test Development team is seeking a talented and motivated student to help drive the next generation of AI-powered test automation solutions.
In this role, you will design and develop intelligent tools and AI agents to enhance debugging, automate test workflows, and improve system-level validation across complex 5G and embedded systems environments.
You will work closely with experienced engineers on cutting-edge technologies, combining software development, data analysis, and applied AI to solve real-world engineering challenges.
Key Responsibilities
Develop AI-based solutions to analyze logs, failures, and asserts, and assist in root cause identification and fix recommendations
• Design automation tools to support test execution, regression flows, and validation pipelines
• Build solutions for cross-module analysis, identifying issues across interacting system components
• Contribute to AI-assisted test generation, including deriving test scenarios from requirements and design documents
• Implement tools and scripts (primarily in Python) to improve test efficiency, coverage, and scalability
Minimum Qualifications
• Student pursuing a B.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Electrical Engineering
• At least 2 year remaining until graduation | Minimum 3 days a week at office
• Strong programming skills (Python preferred)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Self-motivated, fast learner, and team player with good communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience or coursework in AI / Machine Learning / Data Analysis
• Familiarity with test automation frameworks or scripting tools
• Basic understanding of wireless communication systems (LTE/5G) or embedded systems
• Experience with Git or other version control systems
• Basic command of C++ and understanding of multitasking OS
• Familiarity with log analysis and debugging methodologies
