About The Role

We're looking for a QA Engineer to build and own the quality assurance practice at Tipuli Tech. As our first dedicated QA hire, you'll have the opportunity to define testing strategies, build automation frameworks, and establish the processes that ensure TERP remains reliable as we scale. TERP is a complex multi-tenant platform handling sensitive healthcare data — scheduling, billing, electronic health records, HR, and more. A bug in our system doesn't just look bad; it can disrupt real therapy sessions and patient care. Quality isn't a nice-to-have here; it's a responsibility. You'll work across the entire product surface: writing end-to-end tests with Playwright, building API test suites, performing exploratory testing on new features, regression testing before releases, and collaborating with engineers during development to catch issues early. You'll also help define our QA culture — when to automate, when to test manually, and how to balance speed with thoroughness.

Requirements

• 3+ years of QA engineering experience in a SaaS or web application environment

• Strong experience with test automation frameworks — Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium

• Experience writing API tests (REST) and understanding of HTTP, authentication flows, and data validation

• Ability to write clear, reproducible bug reports with steps, expected vs. actual behavior, and screenshots

• Understanding of the software development lifecycle and CI/CD integration for automated test suites

• Analytical mindset — you naturally think about edge cases, race conditions, and how users will break things

Nice to Have

• Experience testing multi-tenant applications with role-based access control

• Healthcare domain knowledge or experience testing medical/EHR software

• Experience with performance and load testing tools (k6, Artillery, Lighthouse)

• SQL proficiency for data validation and test setup

• TypeScript skills for writing test code in the same language as the product

Benefits

• Competitive salary with equity participation

• Hybrid work model — Holon office + remote flexibility

• Flexible working hours

• Comprehensive health insurance

• Define the QA practice from the ground up — high ownership and impact

• Professional development budget
