A leading and well-established consulting company specializing in food industry regulation, compliance, and licensing is seeking a Food Engineer or Food Technologist for a professional and impactful role focused on food facility planning, licensing, and regulatory compliance.

The company is based in Herzliya and provides consulting services to food manufacturers and food businesses throughout the planning, establishment, and regulatory approval process.

Full-time position | Based at the company's offices in Herzliya

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and approve plans for food manufacturing facilities.

• Provide professional guidance to food manufacturers throughout planning and facility establishment processes.

• Manage licensing procedures and coordinate with the Ministry of Health and other regulatory authorities.

• Prepare clients for compliance with applicable standards, regulations, and certifications.

• Work closely with clients, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.

• Lead professional processes related to licensing and regulatory compliance.

Requirements:

• Relevant academic degree in Food Engineering or Food Technology – mandatory.

• Experience in food facility planning, licensing, and regulatory compliance – mandatory.

• Experience working with the Israeli Ministry of Health / National Food Service – a significant advantage.

• Experience reviewing and approving facility plans – a significant advantage.

• Experience with consulting firms specializing in food regulation and compliance – an advantage.

• Familiarity with standards such as HACCP, ISO 22000, and GMP – an advantage.

• Ability to work independently, strong sense of responsibility, and excellent interpersonal skills.

• The position is also suitable for retirees.
