We are looking for a vibrant dynamic person to fill the full-time position of Legal Assistant who will be able to join our team assisting our operations and legal teams with the following daily tasks:
Leading US Visa Processing:
• Reviewing online visa applications and guiding clients accordingly.
• Opening and preparing US Embassy accounts on behalf of clients.
• Dealing with visa application fees and scheduling visa interviews.
• Preparing visa application packets for interview at US Embassy.
• Tracking visa statuses and communicating updates with clients.
• Solving technical matters with Help Desk as needed.
Administrative support:
• Working closely with our Executive Assistant on day-to-day administrative tasks.
• Managing and updating statuses in our immigration case management systems.
• Preparing petitions and application packages for submission to authorities.
• Dealing with messengers, vendors and external service providers.
• Scanning, filing & related office tasks.
Legal tasks:
• Assisting Legal Operations Manager with immigration forms and exhibits.
• Assisting with light legal translation work as needed (Hebrew to English).
• Draft social media posts on weekly basis.
• Ad hoc tasks as needed.
General requirements/skills:
• Native level Hebrew speaker. Advanced level English – must.
• Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience.
• Highly detail oriented.
• Ability to work independently.
• “Troubleshooter”, self-motivated and takes initiative.
• Comfortable working in a fast past environment with tight deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• The ability to relate and communicate with clients and people at all levels.
• The ability to effectively prioritize and administer tasks as well as flexibility to do occasional work outside of office hours.
Preferred requirements/skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in law or substantive army service.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience.
• Prior experience in immigration is a major advantage.
