We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Assistant Controller to join our Finance Department. This is an entry-level position designed for someone eager to grow, take ownership, and contribute meaningfully from day one. The successful candidate will work closely with the Finance Director, gradually taking on increasing responsibility across both day-to-day financial operations and exciting long-term projects.
Key Responsibilities
The Junior Assistant Controller will be responsible for:
Supporting the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes
Actively participating in the implementation of the company's new ERP system, including building, testing, and documenting new workflows and processes
Taking ownership of day-to-day finance and accounting tasks, ensuring continuity and accuracy of ongoing operations
Developing and maintaining financial records, reconciliations, and reports in line with company procedures
Collaborating with internal stakeholders across departments to ensure smooth financial operations
Assisting with ad hoc finance projects and analysis as required by the team
Qualifications & Requirements Required:
Degree in Accounting; completion of CPA internship
Graduate of one of the Big 4 accounting firms
Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail
Organised, structured, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Proactive mindset and comfortable taking initiative and building processes from the ground up
Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, AI tools
Advantage:
Familiarity with ERP systems (experience with implementation or migration projects is a significant advantage)
