Education: postgraduate degree

Qualifications

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master of Physical Therapy (MPT) degree from an accredited program

• Current and active Kansas physical therapy license or eligibility to obtain licensure

• New graduates are encouraged to apply

• Document evaluations, goals, progress notes, and treatments accurately and in a timely manner

• Monitor patient progress and adjust plans of care to maximize outcomes

• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and recovery expectations

• Collaborate with referring providers and clinic staff to coordinate care

• Communicate treatment benefits, risks, and alternatives to ensure informed consent

• Discharge patients appropriately with recommendations or referrals as needed
