We are now looking for a Senior Researcher to join our global Generative AI Trust group within the Security Science Research Lab.

Your role

As a Researcher in our Generative AI Trust Group, you'll play a key role in pioneering the world’s first physical-AI holistic vulnerability scanner. The role would entail integrating real sensors, simulation, and evaluation pipelines for calibrated sim-to-real experiments. The experiments would focus is on sensing benches, ROS-based data capture/replay, sensor calibration, and stress-tests.

What you will own

• Help construct a sensing bench

• Integrate robot and sensors into ROS 2

• Build reliable logging, replay, and synchronization pipelines

• Support calibration workflows for intrinsics, extrinsics, and timing

• Help set up and maintain simple simulation scenarios matching real-world experiments

• Help automate experiment execution and result collection

• Produce reproducible configs, launch files, and test harnesses

Responsibilities

• Sensor driver integration and ROS 2 interfaces

• Capture, replay, and dataset organization

• Extrinsic validation, timestamp checks

• Simple simulator setup for matched real/sim scenarios

• Basic experiment scripting and regression tests

• Failure debugging at the sensor, replay, and config layers

• Documentation that makes the setup repeatable by others

Required background

• MSc in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or similar

• Real hands-on experience with ROS or ROS 2 on physical hardware

• Experience integrating at least one of: LiDAR, RGB/RGB-D camera, radar, IMU

• Comfort with Python and enough C++ to work in robotics tooling

• Familiarity with calibration, coordinate frames, and time synchronization

• Experience with Gazebo / Isaac / MuJoCo or similar simulation – advantage

• Strong debugging habits and tolerance for messy

• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Hebrew.

• Good research track record and publications in top-tier conferences and journals.

• Experience in offensive cybersecurity, particularly in AI security, vulnerability assessment, and ethical hacking (advantage).
