Join our Data Centers group and play a key role in developing SolarEdge's next generation of innovative, high-performance products. As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing electronic packaging solutions from concept to production while collaborating closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver reliable, manufacturable, and cost-effective products.

What will you be doing?

• Support the mechanical engineers with CAD design

• Perform PCB mechanical design in close collaboration with Electrical Engineers.

• Prepare production documentation, including mechanical drawings, PCB mechanical drawings, and manufacturing files.

• Support product validation, first article inspections (FAI), troubleshooting, and design improvements.

• Provide ongoing engineering support throughout the product lifecycle and manufacturing process.

Requirements:

• Education: Mechanical Practical Engineer

• 4+ years of experience in mechanical CAD design

• Strong knowledge of CAD design tools

• Experience in drawings and production files preparation

• Familiarity with mass production processes such as plastic injection, aluminum die cast and sheet metal

Soft skills:

• Ability to work on several projects in parallel

• Team player

• Self-motivated, self-maintained and problem solving oriented

• Ability to prioritize workload to meet deadlines

• Ability to work in a dynamic environment

• Knowledge of quality control systems - an advantage
