The Enterprise Applications Team Leader is responsible for leading the support, maintenance, enhancement, and day-to-day operation of the organization’s enterprise applications landscape. This role combines hands-on application knowledge with team leadership, business engagement, service delivery, and continuous improvement responsibilities.
The Enterprise Applications Team Leader will manage a team of application specialists, oversee incident resolution and change requests, support integrations and business process optimization, and ensure that enterprise applications effectively support the organization’s operational and strategic goals.
Responsibilities
• Lead, mentor, and manage the Enterprise Applications team, including task allocation, workload balancing, and professional development.
• Oversee daily support and operational activities for enterprise applications across the organization.
• Act as an escalation point for complex application issues and cross-functional business process challenges.
• Ensure timely and high-quality resolution of incidents, service requests, and application-related issues.
• Prioritize support and enhancement activities based on business impact, urgency, and agreed service levels.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand operational needs and translate them into application solutions and improvements.
• Manage application changes, upgrades, testing, and release coordination.
• Support business process optimization through improved use of enterprise applications and automation opportunities.
• Coordinate with internal IT teams, vendors, and external partners on integrations, interfaces, and support activities.
• Ensure application documentation, knowledge base articles, procedures, and support guidelines are maintained and up to date.
• Monitor service performance, issue trends, recurring problems, and user satisfaction.
• Support governance, compliance, data integrity, and application security requirements.
• Contribute to application roadmap planning and continuous improvement initiative
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Proven experience in enterprise applications support, implementation, or administration.
• Previous experience leading a team or coordinating application support activities – Advantage.
• Strong understanding of business processes across corporate functions.
• Experience in application lifecycle management, testing, upgrades, and change management.
• Experience working with vendors, business users, and cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Technical understanding of integrations, interfaces, and application architecture – Advantage.
• Familiarity with SQL, APIs, or low-code/no-code platforms – Advantage.
• Strong service orientation and communication skills.
Good written and verbal communication in English.
