About Us

Act Security is an action-first cloud security platform built for the AI era.

For years, organizations have piled up access they never use. That debt was survivable when attacks moved at human speed. It isn't anymore. AI now finds and exploits access paths faster than any team can triage them, and AI agents are operating inside production systems with real autonomy to act. Access has become the attack surface, and chasing findings one at a time is a losing game.

Act systematically shrinks the access surface across your cloud, enforcing deterministic boundaries on what people, workloads, and AI agents can reach. We reason across identity, network, and AI access together- the three control planes that decide what anything can touch- and we enforce through the cloud-native controls you already own. No agents, nothing new to deploy, nothing taken offline. The result is a cloud that's structurally harder to attack and a security posture that holds between audits instead of quietly eroding.

We're early-stage, well-funded, and moving fast - built by repeat security operators who previously created Medigate (acquired by Claroty). If you want to build something that matters from the ground up and ship to production within days, this is the place.

Our Culture

We live by three values: Win, Learn, Have Fun. We play to win- we set ambitious goals and hold ourselves to high standards. We learn constantly- from customers, from each other, and from our mistakes. And we have fun doing it: we believe great work happens when people enjoy working together.

The Role

You'll own a product lane end to end. At Act, PMs don’t hand off a backlog, they take an area from raw customer signal to GA and deliver the win. Our PMs own end-to-end use cases like external perimeter hardening across IAM and network dimensions, human access boundaries, application perimeter enforcement, and agentic application least-privilege enforcement. You’ll take on an end-to-end boundary use case and everything it touches. You’ll shape how Act turns raw cloud configuration data into deterministic, enforceable boundaries, working closely with R&D, design, and customers to ship a product that materially shrinks the attack surface, reduces lateral movement opportunities, and eliminates exfiltration routes - preventing modern agentic attacks before they can take hold.

What Will You Do

• Shape and own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for your area, translating Act's mission of shrinking the cloud access surface into a clear, prioritized plan.

• Manage the entire product capability lifecycle - from discovery and requirements through design, execution, and release.

• Learn customer environments, threat models, and security workflows to ensure the product drives real operational success for cloud and security teams.

• Gather and analyze requirements, and write clear, detailed PRDs and user stories.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams - R&D, UI/UX, security research, and GTM - to guarantee smooth, efficient implementation.

• Deep dive into the technical layers of identity, network, and AI access to make sound product and prioritization calls.

• Engage directly with customers and prospects to validate ideas, gather feedback, and inform strategy.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Product Manager. At least 2 in cybersecurity, cloud, or application security (AppSec) - a must!

• Solid understanding of cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and security practices, tools, and frameworks.

• Strong technical orientation, with the ability to engage deeply with engineering teams

• Proven ability to own an entire product feature / capability / module end-to-end, with a comprehensive understanding of system flows and user interactions beyond a single feature or domain.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

• Comfortable operating in a fast-moving, dynamic startup environment with a hands-on approach.

• Background in network analysis, active directory, cloud IAM - an advantage.

• Background in intelligence, cyber operations, or security research - an advantage.

Why Join Us

• Real ownership - this is an early-stage company where product managers drive decisions.

• AI-native environment - you'll join an AI-native team. We help customers secure their AI workloads, build intelligent automation into our product, and use AI tools every day as part of how we build and ship.

• Top-tier team - founders with deep security and product experience, surrounded by a team of experts and backed by leading investors.

• Competitive package - strong salary, meaningful equity, and the upside of joining early.
