Original listing · kept for referenceWe are looking for a Systems Engineer to lead the development of an Interceptor Missile within the Air & Missile Defense Division at Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI).
The position includes:
• Leading systems engineering activities throughout the development lifecycle of an advanced interceptor missile
• Writing and managing system requirements and technical specifications for engineering teams and subcontractors
• Reviewing, validating, and approving system design documentation
• Defining and managing interfaces between the interceptor and the weapon system
• Participating in Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) for both the interceptor and the overall defense system
• Taking part in system design reviews and technical decision-making processes
• Supporting system integration, verification, validation, and live system testing activities
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams, subcontractors, and customers to ensure successful system development
What we’re looking for:
• B.Sc. in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering – Mandatory
• M.Sc. in Engineering – Advantage
• Experience in missile systems development – Mandatory
• Experience in Systems Engineering – Mandatory
• At least 5 years of experience developing complex multidisciplinary systems – Mandatory
• Knowledge of missile technologies and launch systems – Mandatory
• Familiarity with environmental qualification requirements and verification/testing methodologies – Advantage
