We are looking for a highly skilled QA Automation Engineer to join our team. This role combines hands-on automation development with solid manual testing capabilities and strong understanding of networking fundamentals.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain automated test suites (primarily using Playwright)

• Execute manual tests when required, including exploratory and edge-case testing

• Test REST APIs using Swagger and other API tools

• Validate system behavior across load-balanced environments

• Work with JSON payloads, encryption/decryption mechanisms and authentication flows

• Collaborate closely with developers, DevOps and product teams to ensure high quality releases

• Investigate production issues and participate in root cause analysis

• Analyze network traffic and debug issues related to DNS, SSL/TLS, HTTP/HTTPS advantage

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in QA with strong focus on Automation

• Hands-on experience with Playwright

• Proven experience building automation infrastructure from scratch (Page Object Model, project structure, frameworks, utilities, etc.)

• Solid knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions or equivalent)

• Strong understanding of REST APIs and Swagger documentation

• Experience testing distributed systems behind load balancers

• Practical experience working with JSON structures

• Basic understanding of encryption/decryption concepts

• Solid knowledge of HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, SSL/TLS and core networking protocols advantage

• Experience writing scripts for automation (JavaScript / TypeScript / Python) advantage

• Strong analytical and debugging skills

• Experience using or integrating AI-assisted tools

• Ability to work independently and take ownership
