The team: Our company produces highly challenging Image Signal Processing chains for digital cameras, and state-of-the-art imaging and sensing devices. Our customers are worldwide leading mobile and automotive-systems suppliers. The Application group leads product assimilation for customer applications. For that purpose, the group is building customer-dedicated SW tools, creating the infrastructure for verifying product functionality, and performing ISP tuning for optimizing Image Quality. What will you do? The position is for an Automotive Image Quality & Functional engineering student for highly challenging world-leading CMOS Image Sensor products in the automotive industry. Responsibilities: Hands-on work creating test set-ups and capturing data in lab, office and outdoor settings. Support the CMOS image sensor products customer issues: • Support customers in integrating our products to their workflows • Assist in investigations, root cause analysis for customer issues • Assist in executing tests for recreating and resolving customer issues Cooperation with R&D for customer escalations and future technologies Write scripts and automation tools for sensor evaluation Prepare functionality and image quality verification reports
Requirements: • MSc. Student in engineering or physics • BSc. graduate from established university with GPA 82 or higher • Ability to learn and work independently • Good presentation and communication skill set • Fluent in English. • Basic programming skills • Scripting abilities in Python (preferred) or MATLAB Advantages • Hands-on experience using AI tools in academic projects or engineering work
