Who this suits

This role suits an Israeli CPA with over eight years of finance experience, including team leadership and a background in high-growth B2B SaaS companies. It is less ideal for those without experience in US/Israel dual-entity structures or those who lack hands-on experience supporting institutional funding rounds.

Full job description

Original listing · kept for reference

We’re hiring a Director of Finance to be the CFO’s right hand as we scale the finance function for the next phase of growth. This is a high-ownership seat: you will run the day-to-day of finance end-to-end — close, FP&A, financial modeling, board and investor reporting, audit, tax, and treasury - while also driving the AI and automation agenda across the finance stack.

This is a role with significant scope from day one, and meaningful room to grow as the company and the finance function scale.

What you’ll own:

• Financial planning & analysis. Build and own the financial model. Run budgeting, forecasting, scenario planning, and cash/runway management. Deliver clear, decision-ready analysis to the CFO, CEO, and board on a quarterly cadence

• Accounting & close. Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close. Drive close speed and accuracy, and ensure US GAAP-compliant consolidated financials across our US and Israeli entities

• Board, investor & fundraising support. Own board materials, investor updates, and KPI reporting. Be a core partner to the CFO on the upcoming funding round - financial narrative, model, data room, diligence, and close

• Audit, tax & compliance. Manage the relationship with external auditors, tax advisors, and counsel across Israel, the EU, and the US. Own statutory compliance, transfer pricing, and the internal control environment

• Treasury & operations. Own cash management, banking relationships, FX, payroll oversight, AP/AR, employee equity (ESOP) administration, and finance-related insurance and vendor contracts

• AI & automation. Lead the modernization of the finance stack. Identify, evaluate, and deploy AI and automation tooling to replace manual workflows in close, FP&A, billing, AR, and reporting. This is a real mandate, not a side project

• Team leadership. Manage the existing finance and accounting team. Hire, mentor, and grow the team as the company scales

What we’re looking for:

• 8+ years in progressively senior finance roles, including at least 2–3 years leading teams (Director, Head of Finance, or equivalent)

• Israeli CPA, with Big 4 experience

• Meaningful experience in high-growth B2B SaaS - ideally companies that have crossed Series B/C and scaled past $20M ARR

• Hands-on experience supporting at least one institutional funding round (Series B or later) from the company side — model, data room, diligence, close

• Strong working knowledge of US GAAP and experience operating in a US/Israel dual-entity structure with material US revenue

• Expert-level financial modeling. Deep comfort in Excel; experience with modern FP&A and accounting tooling

• Fluent, polished written and spoken English - you will routinely interface with US-based investors, customers, and counsel

• A genuine track record of using AI and automation to change how finance work gets done — not just curiosity, but shipped results

• High ownership, low ego. Equally comfortable building the model yourself today and building the team that owns it tomorrow

Strong advantages:

• Cybersecurity, infrastructure, or deep-tech B2B SaaS background

• Experience in a channel-led or partner-heavy GTM model

• Experience operating with significant autonomy as the senior-most finance hire on a small team

Why this role:

• A senior, high-ownership seat with significant scope and room to grow as the company scales

• A direct line to the CFO and exposure to the CEO, board, and lead investors from day one

• Real ownership of the funding rounds and the financial story behind it

• A genuine mandate to rebuild finance around AI and automation

• A category-defining product in a market that matters - secure access for the world’s most critical environments
