Azure Cloud & Kubernetes Platform Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Azure Cloud & Kubernetes Platform Engineer to join our team and support mission-critical production environments. This role focuses on cloud operations, platform reliability, Kubernetes administration, security, monitoring, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of enterprise-scale Azure infrastructure

Responsibilities

• Manage, operate, and support Azure-based production environments

• Maintain and optimize AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service) clusters, ensuring stability, scalability, and security

• Troubleshoot complex cloud infrastructure, networking, identity, performance, and availability issues

• Implement and maintain monitoring, alerting, logging, and observability solutions

• Manage cloud security controls, secrets, certificates, managed identities, and access governance

• Automate infrastructure deployment and configuration using Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

• Develop operational procedures, runbooks, troubleshooting guides, and production readiness documentation

• Collaborate with infrastructure, security, development, and business teams across the organization

• Drive operational excellence, resilience, disaster recovery readiness, and risk mitigation initiative

Requirements

• Proven hands-on experience operating Microsoft Azure services in production environments

• Strong practical experience with AKS / Kubernetes in real-world operational environments

• Excellent troubleshooting skills across cloud infrastructure, networking, identity, permissions, availability, and performance domains

• Solid understanding of networking and security fundamentals, including DNS, TLS, proxies, firewalls, private networking, certificates, and access control

• Experience with Azure Monitor, log analytics, dashboards, alerting, and observability tools

• Hands-on experience with Azure Key Vault, secrets management, certificates, managed identities, and service principals

• Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC), preferably using Terraform

• Strong production mindset with focus on reliability, resilience, hardening, backup & recovery, rollback planning, and operational risk reduction

• Ability to create operational documentation, runbooks, troubleshooting procedures, and production readiness checklists

• Ability to work independently in a complex enterprise environment with multiple stakeholders
