Role Description This is a full time SecOps role based in center , offered in a hybrid work model that combines on-site work with the option to work from home. The SecOps professional will monitor security events and alerts, investigate incidents, and support the implementation of security controls and policies across systems and networks. Daily responsibilities include analyzing logs and telemetry, triaging and responding to potential threats, assisting with vulnerability assessments, and helping maintain SIEM, EDR, and other security tools. The role will also involve collaborating with cyber researchers and incident response teams, documenting findings, contributing to playbooks, and supporting continuous improvement of detection and response capabilities. The ideal candidate will work closely with internal and client stakeholders to help ensure secure operations aligned with IG’s methodologies and standards.
Qualifications
• 7+ years of exsprience in security operations, including monitoring, triaging, and incident response within SOC or SecOps environments.
• Candidates should possess skills in security tooling and platforms, such as SIEM solutions, endpoint detection and response (EDR), firewalls, IDS/IPS, and vulnerability scanners.
• Candidates should possess skills in network and system security fundamentals, including TCP/IP, operating systems (Windows, Linux), and common attack vectors and mitigation techniques.
• Candidates should possess skills in threat analysis and cyber intelligence, including log analysis, threat hunting, and understanding of zero-day exploits, APTs, ransomware, and malware.
• Candidates should possess skills in documentation and communication, including clear incident reporting, technical writing, and effective collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Relevant qualifications such as a degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, are beneficial.
• Industry certifications such as Security+, CySA+, CEH, GCIH, or similar are advantageous.
