Role Description This is a full-time, on-site CAD & CAE Engineer role based in Sderot. The CAD & CAE Engineer will design and develop mechanical components and assemblies for advanced battery modules and systems, ensuring alignment with performance, safety, and manufacturability requirements. The role includes creating and maintaining detailed 3D models and 2D drawings, preparing documentation and BOMs, and collaborating with cross-functional teams such as electrical, thermal, and manufacturing engineering. The engineer will perform simulations and analyses (e.g., structural, thermal, vibration) to validate designs, optimize robustness, and support design reviews and regulatory compliance. Daily work also includes supporting prototype builds, implementing engineering changes, addressing production feedback, and contributing to continuous improvement of design standards and workflows. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related engineering field.
• Experience designing for manufacturing and assembly (DfM/DfA) in high-reliability applications, preferably in energy storage, automotive, or related industries.
• Familiarity with battery systems, thermal management, or power electronics enclosures is an advantage.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English and ability to collaborate closely with on-site teams in Sderot.
