Overview
SREs ensure the reliability and performance of production systems.
Responsibilities
• Run production environments: Monitor systems, respond to incidents, and deploy fixes.
• Build scalable infrastructure: Design systems to manage platform infrastructure and improve reliability.
• Improve time-to-market: Balance feature development with reliability and performance.
• Measure and tune systems: Gather metrics, conduct performance tuning, and work with development teams.
• Create sustainable systems: Implement automation for deployment, monitoring, and scaling.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure, monitoring tools, and scripting languages.
• Strong problem-solving skills and calmness under pressure.
