Job Description:

Israel Shipyards is seeking an Aluminum Production Lead for a relocation assignment in Mexico. The ideal candidate must be fluent in Spanish.

Key Responsibilities:

• Overseeing and executing production plans

• Monitoring and Quality Assurance of manufacturing and assembly processes

• Managing production supervisors and team leaders

• Leading a small team of Israeli professionals and overseeing the work of a local foreign workforce

• Supersizing contractors' work

• Managing and supporting employees who report directly to the Aluminum Production Lead

• Operating in a matrix environment, working closely with multiple internal functions and with the customer abroad

• Leading and promoting a culture of continuous improvement and safety

Essential Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree or Practical Engineering diploma in Industrial Engineering and Management or Mechanical Engineering

• Fluency in English and Spanish, including the ability to read engineering drawings and technical specifications in both languages

• Professional experience in the aluminum industry

• At least five years of direct people management experience

• Experience working with multiple cross-functional interfaces

• Proficiency in computerized systems

• Willingness to relocate

Additional Advantages:

• Former service in the Israeli Navy, preferably a graduate of the Naval Officers Course

• Familiarity with marine vessels

• Proficiency in the Priority ERP system
