Original listing · kept for referenceWe're looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our Optomechanics Team and play a key role in developing advanced multidisciplinary systems from concept through mass production.
Responsibilities
• Lead the mechanical development of new optomechanical products from concept to serial production.
• Design rugged military-grade systems capable of operating in extreme environmental conditions (temperature, shock, vibration, underwater, etc.).
• Design complex plastic injection-molded parts using advanced engineering materials.
• Design electronic enclosures and PCB packaging, with a solid understanding of electronic components.
• Design flexible cable harnesses and interconnect solutions.
• Collaborate closely with optical engineers and industrial designers throughout the product development lifecycle.
Requirements
• B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering.
• 10+ years of experience in mechanical product development.
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in optomechanical design, including packaging and integration of optical elements down to the single-lens level.
