Original listing · kept for referenceAbout Credito
Credito is one of Israel's leading non-bank credit and mortgage providers, combining advanced technology with deep financial expertise to deliver smarter, faster financing solutions. We're building a QA team that's moving from manual testing toward smart, AI-powered automation –and we're looking for a motivated Junior QA Engineer to join our R&D team and be part of that journey from day one.
What you'll do:
• Start with manual testing to learn our systems deeply - then move quickly into writing automated tests.
• Building and maintaining automated test suits that make our QA process faster, more stable, and easier to scale.
• Put AI-powered tools to work generating tests, expanding coverage, and surfacing issues sooner –we want to reduce repetitive manual work, not repeat it.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Developers, and Data professionals –some based in Israel, some on our offshore team –to ship quality releases on time.
• Keep learning –automation tools, new AI technologies, and modern QA methodologies are at the heart of the role.
Who thrives here:
This is a fast-paced role in a dynamic environment, with busy stretches and close teamwork across time zones and cultures. More than a perfect résumé, we're looking for the right person:
• Calm and organized under pressure –you prioritize well and keep your accuracy sharp even when deadlines are tigth.
• A genuine team player –open, patient, and mature when working with both local and remote colleagues.
• Assertive with a backbone –you're not afraid to say, “this isn't ready to ship” and stand behind it, even under deadline pressure. A good QA is the gatekeeper, not just the nice one.
• An automation mindset –you'd rather solve a problem once and let the machine handle the rest.
• Curious and eager to learn –especially about emerging AI tools and how to apply them to QA
• A natural eye for detail –you notice the small things others miss, without losing the bigger picture.
• Positive and energetic people enjoy working with you.
What you'll bring:
• A QA certificate, or a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related filed.
• Sharp analytical thinking and excellent attention to detail.
• A real drive to grow toward automation –even if your hands-on experience is still limited.
• Native or fluent Hebrew, plus solid English reading and writing (you'll work with an English-speaking team daily).
Nice to have:
• Early exposure to automation tools e.g., Selenium or any scripting language.
• Familiarity with API testing, SQL, or basic programming.
• Experience with test management or bug-tracking tools (e.g., Jira).
• Interested in fintech, banking, or mortgage domain.
