Mentaily is seeking a Patient Coordinator to support the operational effort of a national psychiatric rehabilitation program.

This role is best suited for candidates with a foundational clinical background (e.g., psychology or social work), and offers meaningful exposure to real-world therapeutic processes. Prior hands-on clinical experience is considered a strong advantage.

You will work with a sensitive population, some of whom may be in acute distress, and are expected to demonstrate emotional resilience, professionalism, and clear boundaries.

This position plays a critical role in maintaining service continuity, response times, and overall patient experience.

This is a part-time, hourly position based in the Tel Aviv area, ideal for students seeking hands-on exposure to clinical and operational workflows.

On-site shift-based role, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, 1-4 shifts per week.

Job requirements and competencies :

•    Current student in psychology, social work, or a related clinical field (availability for 2-4 shifts in a week)

•    Academic background in a clinical discipline (psychology, social work, mental health) required

•    Fluent Hebrew and English (spoken and written)

•    Strong interpersonal and communication skills

•    Ability to remain calm and structured under pressure

•    High emotional resilience and ability to work with vulnerable populations

•    Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

•    Comfortable working with digital tools, scheduling systems, and CRM platforms

• High level of reliability and accountability

Responsibilities and authorities:

•    Act as first point of contact for patients within the operational flow

•    Coordinate intake processes, assessments, and therapy scheduling via LIV platform

•    Ensure timely response and follow-up to patient inquiries and requests

•    Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in internal systems

•    Identify operational bottlenecks and escalate issues when needed

•    Work closely with therapists and internal teams to ensure continuity of care

•    Support service-level objectives (SLA) including response time and scheduling efficiency

•    Handle sensitive interactions with professionalism, empathy, and discretion

Nice-to-Have:

•    Prior hands-on clinical or therapeutic experience (internship, practicum, volunteering, or assistant roles in a clinical setting) strong advantage

•    Experience in patient-facing / customer-facing roles

•    Experience working with vulnerable or at-risk populations

•    Familiarity with scheduling or CRM systems

• Additional languages (Arabic, Russian, Amharic)
