Role Description This is a full-time, on-site הנדסאי/ת חשמל role based at Shafir Production Systems Ltd. in Kochav Yair Tzur Yigal. The electrical engineering technician will participate in the design, assembly, wiring, and testing of electrical systems for automated and specialized machines. Daily responsibilities include reading and interpreting electrical drawings, installing and integrating control panels and field components, and supporting the commissioning and troubleshooting of machinery at the facility. The role involves close collaboration with mechanical, automation, and software teams to ensure safe, reliable, and standards-compliant electrical solutions. The position also includes documenting work, maintaining relevant records, and contributing to continuous improvement of production and service processes. Qualifications

• Practical engineer (הנדסאי/ת חשמל) diploma and valid electrical certification/license appropriate for working with industrial machinery.

• Experience with industrial electrical systems, including control panels, wiring of sensors and actuators, and integration of motors and servo drives.

• Ability to read and work from electrical schematics, technical drawings, and documentation in both Hebrew and English.

• Familiarity with automation environments (PLCs, motion control, and safety circuits) and advantage for experience with robotics or computer vision systems.

• Strong troubleshooting skills, including systematic fault detection, root-cause analysis, and safe corrective actions in a production environment.

• Comfort working on-site in a workshop and factory setting, including hands-on assembly, installation, and support of machines.

• Effective teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering and production teams.

• High sense of responsibility, adherence to safety and quality standards, and willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.

• Previous experience in machine building, automated production lines, or similar industrial roles is an advantage.
