    Company Description Itach-Ma'aki (“with you” in Hebrew and Arabic) is a social change organization founded in 2001 to advance the rights and voices of women facing socioeconomic, geographic, national, and ethnic discrimination. The organization works to build a shared society grounded in gender equality and equal access to justice. Itach-Ma'aki promotes the integration of a gender perspective into local and national policy, influencing decision-makers and public systems.     Role Description The Finance Manager (מנהלת כספים) will oversee the organization’s financial planning, budgeting, and reporting in a full-time remote role. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and monitoring annual and project budgets, tracking expenses, managing cash flow, and ensuring accurate bookkeeping and financial records. The role involves producing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, supporting audits, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, donor requirements, and internal policies. The Finance Manager will collaborate closely with management and project teams on financial analyses, provide decision-support, and help design financial procedures that align with the organization’s mission and strategic priorities. The role also includes supervision or coordination of external accounting services, optimization of financial systems and tools, and participation in long-term financial planning and risk management.

    Qualifications

    • Strong financial management skills, including budgeting, cash flow management, and financial planning.

    • Proficiency in bookkeeping and accounting practices, including preparation of financial statements and reports.

    • Experience working with non-profit or NGO finances, including donor reporting and grant budget oversight, is highly beneficial.

    • Ability to use financial and office software (such as ERP/accounting systems and spreadsheets) efficiently and accurately.

    • Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to interpret financial data for decision-making.

    • Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with capacity to manage multiple projects and deadlines remotely.

    • Clear and professional communication skills, including the ability to explain financial information to non-financial stakeholders.

    • Commitment to gender equality, social justice, and the values of a shared and inclusive society.

    • Relevant academic background in finance, accounting, economics, business administration, or a related field.

    • Experience collaborating in diverse, multicultural environments and working independently in a remote setting.
