Original listing · kept for referenceWe are looking for an experienced DBA Team Lead to lead a team of three DBAs within a large enterprise organization in the financial sector.
This is a full-time position based in the Central District, offering the opportunity to lead the database infrastructure supporting mission-critical production systems.
In this role, you will manage day-to-day database operations, including installations, upgrades, backup and recovery, performance tuning, monitoring, and ongoing maintenance. You will lead the DBA team, support production environments, collaborate closely with development and infrastructure teams, and drive database reliability, scalability, and availability across multiple technologies including Oracle (Exadata), SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and Snowflake.
Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience as an Oracle or SQL Server DBA.
• 3+ years of experience leading a DBA team in an Enterprise environment.
• Strong hands-on experience with both infrastructure and application database administration.
• Proven experience in database performance tuning and troubleshooting.
• Experience with backup, recovery, upgrades, monitoring, and production support.
• Experience working with enterprise database technologies such as Oracle (Exadata), SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and Snowflake.
• Familiarity with Oracle ecosystem technologies such as Oracle Forms/Reports, Oracle EBS, OIM, or CDC- an advantage.
• Strong leadership, planning, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Willingness to participate in on-call rotations, including nights and weekends when required.
