    Utron is a global leader in automation solutions, with over 35 years of experience developing innovative automated parking and intralogistics systems.

    We are looking for a Senior R&D Program Director to lead one of our two R&D divisions. This role is responsible for planning, coordinating, prioritizing, and overseeing complex multidisciplinary development programs while serving as a key integrator between Product Management, R&D teams, and Engineering departments.

    The position plays a critical role in ensuring the successful execution of the company's strategic development objectives by delivering high-quality results on time and driving cross-functional collaboration.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead complex multidisciplinary R&D programs and projects from planning through successful delivery.

    • Plan, prioritize, monitor, and control multiple development projects simultaneously while ensuring on-time delivery and achievement of project milestones.

    • Provide matrix leadership across multidisciplinary engineering teams and cross-functional stakeholders without direct managerial authority.

    • Work closely with Product Managers, R&D teams, and Engineering departments to drive execution of development programs.

    • Identify and mitigate project risks, remove execution roadblocks, prioritize resources, and facilitate decision-making.

    • Build and maintain project plans, monitor progress, and provide clear status updates to senior management.

    • Participate in solving complex technological challenges and support customer-facing activities in Israel and internationally as needed.

    What We're Looking For

    • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Physics, Systems Engineering, or a related engineering discipline).

    • At least 5 years of experience managing multidisciplinary R&D programs or development projects, preferably in a global organization.

    • Proven experience leading complex development programs within a matrix organization.

    • Experience working closely with Product Managers, multidisciplinary R&D teams, and cross-functional stakeholders.

    • Demonstrated ability to lead, influence, and drive results without direct managerial authority.

    • Strong system-level thinking, excellent prioritization skills, and the ability to make sound decisions in a dynamic environment.

    • Outstanding stakeholder management, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
