      Role Description

      This is a full-time hybrid role based in the Tel Aviv District, Israel.

      The Cyber Security Consultant will perform penetration tests and security assessments on web, mobile, thick client, and infrastructure environments, identifying vulnerabilities and recommending remediation steps. Daily responsibilities include analyzing system architectures, reviewing code and configurations for security issues, and preparing clear, actionable reports for technical and non-technical stakeholders. The consultant will collaborate with engineering and product teams to improve security posture, contribute to threat modeling and risk evaluations, and stay current with emerging threats, tools, and industry standards. The role may also involve supporting pre-sales activities, participating in client workshops, and contributing to internal research and knowledge sharing.

      Qualifications

      • Strong foundation in Cybersecurity and Information Security, including risk management, security best practices, and familiarity with frameworks such as OWASP, NIST, ISO 27001, and CIS Benchmarks.

      • Hands-on experience in Application Security and penetration testing across web, mobile, infrastructure, and network environments, including vulnerability assessment, manual validation, and remediation prioritization.

      • Strong understanding of code, software architecture, and secure development practices, with the ability to review source code, identify security flaws, and work effectively with development and engineering teams.

      • Familiarity with AI technologies and AI-assisted security workflows, including the use of AI tools for research, automation, code analysis, vulnerability discovery, and development of custom security tooling.

      • Proficiency in scripting or programming languages such as Python, Bash, or JavaScript, combined with strong technical reporting and communication skills. A relevant degree, equivalent practical experience, or certifications such as OSAI, OSCE, CISSP, or CEH are considered an advantage.
