A leading defense company in central Israel is looking for an experienced Embedded Engineer to develop software for Real-Time Embedded systems, working closely with hardware in a Host & Target environment.
The role includes development in C / C++, driver development, working with various processors, implementing communication protocols such as SPI, UART, I2C, UDP, system integration, optimization, and test development.
We are looking for candidates with strong Embedded C experience, deep understanding of real-time systems, hands-on work with hardware, and Low-Level software infrastructure.
Main Requirements:
• B.Sc. in Electrical & Electronics Engineering / Software Engineering / Computer Science – must
• At least 5 years of experience in Real-Time Embedded development - must
• Strong experience in C programming - must
• Experience working without an operating system / Bare Metal - significant advantage
• Experience with FreeRTOS / Embedded Linux / Linux Kernel - advantage
• Experience with STM32 / TI processors – significant advantage
• Experience implementing Low-Level communication protocols: SPI, UART, I2C, etc.
• Background in Servo / Control Loops / hardware-oriented development – advantage
• Experience with Python / C++ / Git - advantage
